Top Premier League scorers of all time: Mo Salah equals Robbie Fowler record, now has Thierry Henry in his sights

Mohamed Salah wrote his name further into Liverpool legend on Sunday as his goal against Arsenal saw him draw level with a player revered by the club’s supporters in the all-time Premier League goalscoring list.

The Egyptian winger slotted home Liverpool’s second equaliser of the day to ultimately earn his side a 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium, picking up an away point to one of their title rivals which could prove pivotal come the end of the season.

In terms of the bigger picture, though, Salah’s goal was his 163rd in the Premier League – against the same victims as his very first strike in the top flight – seeing him equal former Liverpool, Leeds United and Manchester City striker Robbie Fowler‘s haul.

Incredibly, Salah has reached his tally in only 272 games – 107 games less than it took Fowler, a player regarded as one of the most natural finishers the competition has ever seen.

The prolific winger is now eighth in the all-time list, and next in Salah’s sights is a man many rank as the best player in Premier League history, Arsenal icon Thierry Henry, who sits 12 goals ahead.
