Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace are all reportedly exploring the possibility of hiring former Manchester United coach Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace are all reportedly interested in the services of Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The 48-year-old has made headlines in the Premier League so far this term, taking interim charge of Manchester United following the sacking of Erik ten Hag in October.
The Red Devils enjoyed a four-match unbeaten run across the top flight, EFL Cup and Europa League under the temporary stewardship of Van Nistelrooy.
Four points from two league contests against Chelsea and Leicester on the Dutchman’s watch allowed Man United to move up to 13th place in the Premier League standings.
Van Nistelrooy has since departed from the Theatre of Dreams, with former Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim announced as the permanent successor to Ten Hag.

Van Nistelrooy wanted by three Premier League clubs?
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Man United legend Van Nistelrooy could be in line for a swift return to management in England following his exit from Old Trafford.
Firstly, the report states that newly-promoted Leicester are considering the 48-year-old as a possible replacement for Steve Cooper at the King Power Stadium.
The ex-Nottingham Forest coach has supposedly failed to convince players and supporters alike with his relaxed approach to the season so far.
As well as Leicester, it is understood that Midlands counterparts Wolves are also weighing up a swoop for the services of Van Nistelrooy.
Languishing down in 19th place in the Premier League table, Gary O’Neil‘s troops are battling to avoid a first Championship campaign since 2017-18.
Finally, 18th-placed Crystal Palace are said to be keen on Van Nistelrooy, with the Eagles making a surprisingly-poor start to the season under the leadership of Oliver Glasner.

Van Nistelrooy’s permanent credentials
Van Nistelrooy has limited experience of managing in first-team football, starting his coaching career in the youth systems of PSV Eindhoven in 2018.
Following the exit of German Roger Schmidt in 2022, the Dutchman was promoted to the role of senior manager at the Eredivisie giants for the 2022-23 term.
PSV lost out on the Dutch crown to Feyenoord by seven points that campaign, although Van Nistelrooy’s troops lifted the KNVB Cup.
